NEET PG 2025

Strategy for Students Scoring 145+ Correct in NEET PG 2025 With Dr. Praveen Tripathi

Every student deserves their own personalised preparation plan as they have different levels of preparation and get different scores.  If you’re scoring 145+ corrects in your mocks consistently, congratulations, you’re in a good position. But don’t take it easy now. It’s time to leap from good to great.

Here is step-by-step guidance, here is a direct and concentrated plan to take you from 145 to 165+, correcting a change that could significantly enhance your rank in NEET PG 2025.

Step 1: Know Where You Stand

If you’re scoring 145+, you already possess:

  • A solid base
  • A decent grasp of most topics

Now, pose the following questions to yourself:

  • Which subjects am I consistently weaker in?
  • Am I losing marks because of conceptual weaknesses or factual mistakes?
  • Utilise GT (Grand Test) analysis to spot these weak points. Sites such as Cerebellum and NEET PG provide GTs that point out your trends over time.
Step 2: Take the Right Mocks
  • Cerebellum Mock 1 & 2
  • NEET PG Mock 1 & 2
  • Mock 1 = more difficult
  • Mock 2 = slightly easier but better-balanced

These tests provide you with a correct picture of your present level and enable you to think strategically better.

Step 3: Targeted, Asymmetric Preparation

Now is the time for asymmetric prep, which means:

  • Don’t revise everything again from scratch
  • Instead, target high-yield areas like:
    • Medicine – e.g. Medicine in a Day by Dr. Dilip Kumar
    • PSM
    • Short subjects (Psychiatry, Anesthesia, Radiology, etc.)
    • Pharmacology
  • If you’re lagging in a subject, jump to:
    • Quick Revision Videos 2.0
    • Custom modules
    • PYQs
Step 4: GTs, Mini GTs & Smart Testing

Your test calendar should include:

  • Full GT every 15 days
  • Mini GTs (3–4 topics at a time)
    • Q-based video explanations (30–90 sec per Q)
    • Coverage in ~1.5 hours to save time in revision

This strategy trains active recall + spaced repetition, making your memory hold till exam day.

Step 5: Revision + CAMP Routine

Utilise Cerebellum’s Mission 2.0 Final Batch:

  • Live Marathon Classes for last-minute recall
  • E&Ds (Evaluate & Discuss) sessions with live test + discussion
  • Midday and Late Night PYQs to keep concepts sharp

And monitor your daily progress with CAMP (Cerebellum Accountability Management Program):

  • Bed-to-book time (begin studying < 30 mins from waking)
  • Deep study sessions (1 hr uninterrupted)
  • Concentration level (rate yourself 1–10)

This creates accountability and discipline, which is absolutely essential in the last 60 days.

Sample Schedule: The 60-Day Plan
  • June 8: FMT Quick Rev + E&D
  • June 9–10: Anatomy full revision + test + PYQs
  • Followed by Dermat, PSM, Pharma, Radio, etc
  • Large topics such as Medicine, Surgery, OBG = 2 full days
  • Mini GTs + BTRs + PYQs spread in between
  • All wraps up by July 15
  • Then: Last 17–18 days of NEET PG Live Marathons
Extra Tips:
  • Stay away from burnout: Don’t hang out with people who complain about burnout. It’s infectious.
  • Select your group carefully: Keep company with diligent, hardworking colleagues.
  • Double down: This delay is a blessing in disguise—make the best of it.
Conclusion:

It’s Not Over Until It’s Over!

You’ve already reached 145 corrects. That’s your stepping stone. Now with structure, strategy, and sincerity, you can push to 165+ and get the rank you desire. Use the Cerebellum resources, trust the plan, and stick with the final lap.
