Real Experiences. Real Insights. Here’s What the INI CET November 2025 Paper Looked Like.
The INI-CET November 2025 exam is finally over, and what a journey it’s been! Now the paper’s done, let’s take a step back and see what this exam was really like, straight from student feedback and post-exam discussions.
How Many Questions Did Students Attempt?

- Most students reported attempting around 170 to 195 questions.
- Many found the paper slightly lengthy, but doable if you kept your cool.
Time management was key this time — skipping confusing questions early on helped a lot of candidates stay on track. A few students even mentioned that they could have gone higher on attempts, but accuracy felt more important than ever.
How Difficult Was the Paper?
- When students were asked to rate the overall difficulty, the most common response was “moderate but tricky.”
- Roughly 60% felt it was moderately difficult, 25% found it tough, and a smaller chunk — about 15% — said it was easier than expected.
Unlike older papers that relied heavily on direct recall, this one leaned towards concept-based questions. You couldn’t just memorise facts; you had to understand the “why” behind them. In short, it was a thinking paper.
What Kind of Questions Dominate?

- There’s no doubt that clinical and case-based questions ruled the paper this time. Around 70–75% of the exam had short clinical vignettes or reasoning-based MCQs.
- Subjects like Medicine, Surgery, and Radiology stood out with strong conceptual integration. And Image-based questions were there too, but they focused more on interpretation rather than just identification.
So if you had clarity on core concepts and had practised integrated MCQs, you probably found the paper manageable.
Integration Was Everywhere
- One thing almost everyone agreed on — the exam felt deeply integrated.
- Questions combined topics beautifully — like Pathology with Medicine, Anatomy with Surgery, and Pharmacology with Physiology. It’s clear that INI-CET is now testing how well you can connect subjects, not how much you’ve memorized separately.
Students who had prepared through integrated lectures or cross-subject discussions found themselves at an advantage here.
Subject-Wise Weightage: Pre-Clinical & Para-Clinical
Here’s what most students estimated:
- Pre-clinical subjects: roughly 20–25 questions, mainly from Anatomy and Physiology.
- Para-clinical subjects: around 35–40 questions, especially Pathology and Pharmacology.
- The rest, as expected, came from clinical subjects, which made up the majority of the paper.
Those who revised their basic sciences alongside clinical notes said they could easily tackle the integrated questions.
What Students Felt Overall
The general mood after the exam was — “Tough, but fair.” Students appreciated that the exam tested understanding over mugging, and that’s exactly what most modern exams are moving toward. Many felt that they could apply what they learned instead of just recalling lines from notes.
And about Cerebellum Academy?

- 90% of students who used Cerebellum Academy said the platform made a real difference.
- They found the conceptual approach, integrated discussions, and high-yield test series extremely close to what INI-CET actually asked.
The way Cerebellum connects pre-, para-, and clinical subjects mirrors the way this exam now works — and that’s what gave them confidence on the big day.
Conclusion:
This year’s INI-CET November paper was a reminder that this exam isn’t about how many facts you can remember; it’s about how deeply you understand medicine. It rewarded clarity, logic, and presence of mind.
If you’re aiming for the next INI-CET, focus on building strong foundations and integrating subjects early on. Practice mixed-question tests, and train your brain to think clinically — not just recall text.
And when it comes to conceptual clarity and integration, Cerebellum Academy continues to be one of the best places to prepare.
