NEET PG

What to Study from May 28 to June 13 – NEET PG Final Push – Dr Apurv Mehra

Sometimes, the best advice comes from the most unexpected places. In 1941, children’s author Jerry Spinelli said something that holds true even today:

“Live today—not yesterday, not tomorrow. Inhabit yourself in this moment, because this is the moment to act.” If you’re preparing for NEET PG, this thought is especially important right now.

Don’t Let the INI CET Panic Linger

Many of you recently took the INI CET, and I know the panic was real, especially in those early minutes of the exam. That sense of being unsettled? You’re not alone.

But remember: that experience taught you something. You now know what to expect. You’ve felt the pressure. The next step isn’t to dwell on what went wrong—it’s to take that learning forward.

Yesterday Is Gone—And Tomorrow Isn’t Here Yet

It’s natural to think about what happened in the last exam or worry about the one coming up. But here’s the truth:

  • You cannot live in the past. It’s over. Don’t let it weigh you down like a backpack full of doubts.
  • You cannot live in the future. The NEET PG is on June 15. You’re not writing it tomorrow. So stop acting like you are.

What matters is what you do today. Right now.

So, What Should You Focus on From Now Until June 13?

Here’s a clear, focused plan:

✅ Do Previous Year Topics (PYTs) and Previous Year Questions (PYQs)
– 5 years of NEET PG
– 3 years of INI CET
– Minimum 3 years of FMGE

While doing them, ask yourself:
Is there a topic I’m still unsure about?
If yes, revise that topic.

And use the resources you already trust:

  • Done full notes? Use them.
  • Used quick revision? Stick to that.
  • Follow BTR? Go back to BTR.

No new material now. No jumping between resources. Just a revision of what matters.

You Can’t Cover It All—And That’s Okay

Let’s be real: you will never finish 100% of all subjects. And you don’t need to.

Your goal is to revise the high-yield, frequently tested topics smartly and repeatedly. That’s what counts.

June 15 Is for Action—Today Is for Preparation

Think of this like going into a war. You don’t sharpen your weapons during the battle.
You prepare beforehand. So don’t waste your energy worrying. Channel it into doing what matters today.

A Final Thought to Carry With You

Jerry Spinelli also said something beautiful:

“You don’t grow from without. You grow from within.”

You may feel like a small seed right now. But with the right focus, consistency, and belief in yourself, you’re on your way to becoming a strong, beautiful tree.

Take it one day at a time. Study smart. And above all—live in the present.

You’ve got this.
