As a post-intern who’s juggling a job, a bond, or both, this phase is undeniably hard. You’ve just stepped out of an internship, your mind’s still tired, and you’re caught between responsibilities and dreams. You want to get done with this exam, leave the race behind, but life has you tied to a job, sometimes by choice, sometimes by compulsion.
But here’s something important: just because you couldn’t crack NEET PG during internship, it doesn’t mean you can’t do it now. This tough phase can end — and it will — if you learn how to use your time wisely.
Hello, I’m Dr. Pratha Gupta, a first-year Dermatology resident at UCMS & Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital, New Delhi, and I graduated from Lady Hardinge Medical College. And friends, right after completing my internship, I secured AIR 500 in NEET PG 2024 and INICET 2024. And I’m here to help you do the same.
Important Tips To Crack NEET PG 2026:
- Start Simple: Solve the MCQ of the Day
This is non-negotiable. The moment you wake up, solve the MCQ of the Day on the Cerebellum App. Make it a reflex. Even now, when I’m no longer preparing, I still do it — that’s the level of discipline required to succeed with a job.

- Use CAMP to Track Your Hours
The CAMP feature on Cerebellum is a game-changer. It tracks your daily study hours in real time. You need to value every minute you’re not inside the hospital. Here’s how to break it down:
- Bed-to-book time should be under 30–45 minutes.
- Use pre-lunch, midday, and post-dinner hours to study or solve MCQs — even in small chunks.
- Check your progress score regularly. If your hours and scores are improving, you’ll feel more motivated every day.
- Notes: E-Notes Are a Lifesaver
While preparing for duties, annotating every line is tough. That’s why e-notes or iPad-based studying is more efficient. You get everything in one place. Use Cerebellum’s annotated notes, rich with images, and revise topics multiple times. That’s how retention builds.
If you prefer hard copies, go for it. But remember — whatever revises faster, wins.
- E&D: Convert Weakness to Strength
E&D isn’t just a content series — it’s a schedule, a habit-former, a push you need.
- Set weekly goals
- Stick to deadlines
- Appear for mini-tests
- Track your scores and improve your weaknesses
Don’t ignore weak topics. Revise them — again and again. This process of turning your weak spots into strengths is what defines your rank.
- Smart QBank Practice
Use QBank to revise actively. But don’t do it randomly. That’s not smart.
Start with:
- Your weak subjects
- High-weightage topics
- Use custom modules (50 questions/day) — bookmark, PYQs, wrongs, GTs
Daily practice builds confidence and sharpens recall. It also boosts GT scores with time.
- Don’t Miss Late-Night PYQs
PYQs form 60% of the paper. If you’re ignoring them, you’re risking your rank.
Cerebellum’s Late Night PYQs include 8–9 years of past questions. Squeeze them into your nights — even on duty. These are the questions that make or break your final score.

- GTs Are a Must — No Matter What
I know many of you ask: “Ma’am, I’m in bond service. How do I give GTs?”
Simple answer — Give GTs in the morning with a fresh mind.
Make it a non-negotiable routine every 3 weeks. Cerebellum offers well-structured GTs and discussions that help you analyse performance without wasting time.
GTs simulate your final exam day — you need that pressure rehearsal to be ready.
Watch GT Discussions — Save Time, Stay Efficient
Reviewing GTs is tiring. But skipping them is worse.
That’s why Cerebellum has recorded GT discussions. Watch them to:
- Analyse wrong answers
- Understand logic
- Finish GT analysis in 5–6 hours
It’s faster, sharper, and keeps your rhythm alive.
What to Watch? Mission 3.0 or Quick Revision 2.0?
Start with Mission NEET PG/INI CET 3.0. It’s comprehensive. If it feels overwhelming or time isn’t on your side, switch to Quick Revision 2.0. What’s important is not what you watch, but how well you watch. Don’t half-watch videos. Focus fully.
My advice:
- Watch important subjects from Mission NEET PG/INI CET 3.0.
- Use Quick Revision for smaller subjects or the ones you’re already good at.
Everything You Need — Already in the App
- Videos in both English and Hinglish
- Structured lectures
- eNotes
- MCQ trackers
- BTR audio series
- GTs, PYQs, Revision videos, QBank
Everything you need is there. But none of it will matter if you don’t show up every single day.
BTR — Your Best Friend on the Go
While travelling, plug in your earphones and listen to BTR. This is Dr. Zainab Vora’s brainchild — a high-yield, concise, exam-targeted audio series. Think of it as the NCERT of NEET PG — it’s that important.
People have memorised it like poetry. You can’t afford to skip it.
Use breaks, travel time, or small windows in your day to finish short subjects from BTR.
Final Words:
I’ve been in your shoes. I’ve done the hectic duties. I’ve felt the guilt of skipping study time after a night shift. But I’ve also seen that it’s possible.
You don’t need miracles. You just need:
- Grit
- Consistency
- Smart use of the Cerebellum
Your dream branch is waiting. The only thing between you and it is strategy, not luck, not excuses.
You’ve got this.
