NEET PG / INICET 2025

The Complete Guide to crack NEET PG/ INI CET with Dr. Praveen Tripathi

I wanted to talk about a couple of things, and I also have a very small poll that I would like you guys to answer. And our first aim is to complete the course, and you know, have at least one revision before the INICET exam, right. These classes are going to be pretty extensive, right? Like pharma would be given five days, patho would be given five days, Anant sir, I think you also have four days and the good thing is we always have one extra day of E&D in case any faculty wants to take some more hours, that E&D day can be utilised. So first of all, please remember that the classes are extensive.

If anyone amongst you has this doubt whether it is going to be enough or not, my immediate answer is that I don’t have to answer it anymore.

The results speak for itself. Mission 2.0 INICET strike rate was 86% enough to get into the top five, right? So I am talking only about mission classes. So that is a very beautiful answer for you, that it is going to be more than enough.

If you can complete the mission classes, if you can revise them, and if you can develop a strong hold, take it from me, you will end up with a single-digit rank. But it’s not going to be easy, right? At starting, it appears to be easy. We were doing some calculations and we found that last year’s batch of mission 2.0, which is ongoing, the lap one was around 450 hours.

Now, what happens is that we have some discussion, there is some fun here and there, so even if you remove 20, 30, 40 hours, still the content is around 400 hours. And this is what we wanted. We wanted it to be more extensive than rapid revision videos.

We wanted it to be less extensive than the main videos because thousands of hours, it’s impossible to revise. So we kind of stuck the cord at the right spot, these 400 hours, not too little, not too much. And this whole concept of revisions, get your selection, is going to get fulfilled with these 400 hours of content.

So if you can do this 400 hours of content properly, you need nothing else. Revise it, it’s enough. You will be in the top 10. So first thing first.

Second is how do we plan to complete the course?

So those of you who do not understand the concept of mission classes, live classes are being taken, like Anant sir will teach you, and after the class, you have the entire day. In the daytime, you have to revise it, and you have to do a custom module. So, going to the app, going to the Qbank section, going to the custom module section, choose all questions, choose Qbank questions and then go to pediatrics and the chapter that Sir has taught.

Those custom module questions you’ll find a bit on the tougher side because at this point of time, you’re also trying to build concepts, right? So you’ll find it a bit on the tougher side, but that’s perfectly fine. Even if you score fewer marks, that’s okay. As of today, we are in the learning phase.

Second thing, late-night PYQs, PYTs. If you listen to any of our interviews, all the toppers who have gotten great ranks, if you listen to their interviews, everybody talks about late night PYQ, PYT. You guys are starting with the preparation.

The mistake that you’re likely to make is that we’ll do PYQ, PYT at the end. We’ll do it in the end. The end never comes.

So you have to start with late night PYQ, PYT from today, from today itself. What you have to do is, the current late-night PYQ, the live cycle that is going on, is mixed back. It is primarily for the students who are appearing for this exam.

What you have to do you have to go into the test section, mock test, and you have to scroll down, scroll up, scroll down, in fact, scroll down, and there you’ll find late night PYQ subject-wise. Late night PYQ, Pediatrics 1, Late night PYQ, Pediatrics 2. You’ll have to scroll down. So, go for subject-wise late night PYQs.

The late-night PYQs that are going live, you’ll see 1, 2, 3. Leave that. Scroll down, look at the late-night PYQ subject-wise and do that. It will take you hardly 30-35 minutes.

But first of all, your PYQs become stronger. More importantly, you know from which topic the questions are asked. So that is going to help you a lot.

You don’t have to do this in the midday module. In the midday, custom module, late night PYQ. The timings of classes it is going to usually be from 5.30 p.m. Some clinicians who get free late like Gaurav Nagpal sir or Dilip sir, they tend to start class a bit later, 6.30 or 7, but that would be told to you in advance.

What tags can we use for a custom module?

See, at the start, take all of them. At the start, we can choose all of them. Later on, as we move towards the exam, we can focus more on PYQs, PYT.

We are in the process of adding more tags, Harrison-based, Bailey-based. As of in the beginning, you can include all the tags. Arun is asking approximately.

What would be the duration of classes?

See, it varies from 4.5 to 6 hours.

Some teachers might extend to 6.5 hours also, but for the majority of the teachers, 4.5 to 6 hours.

Which book to be followed in mission classes?

Okay, so you have got two options. I believe quick revision notes, as of today, are our best notes. For the simple reason, they have been revised twice or thrice. Mission workbooks are also pretty good, but in two subjects, they are not in sync with the live classes. That is being done.

So, if you are somebody who likes to write a lot, then a workbook. Quick revision notes, also, you will have to write, but see, quick revision notes should be your go-to notes finally. Those five books will stay with you.

In the first phase of studies, you have to add. When you start revision, you have to underline. When you revise, use a colour marking scheme.

Say you go for the green colour. So, in the revision, only the content you want to read again. In the second revision, you mark it with green.

Things that you know by heart, leave them. So that your notes keep on getting more and more concise. So, this is what you have to follow.

Quick revision note has to be your go-to notes in the end. And you have to keep on concising them by underlining.

What about NEET PG?

So, these classes are for both INICT and NEET PG. Our aim is to complete the course, have one revision before INICET. Then we go with Lap 2. In Sadi Bellum, the mission classes have a lab phenomenon.

Lab 1 is an extended class. Then Lap 2 is, if time permits, shorter classes with a test and discussion. And Lap 3, what we call marathons.

They are taken 10 days before the exams. In which everything is revised in like 80-90 hours.

Again, somebody is asking,

Is it enough for the INICET November Exam?

I will repeat myself. If you can do all these classes properly, revise them, you will get a single-digit rank. And we are more confident because again, we have seen the results.

If you still have some confusion, go on YouTube. A video was released. Every single question asked in the INICET exam with a screenshot from the mission classes.

Right? Alright.

Somebody is asking when to do BTR with the mission?

BTR is the concise source. Mission classes or quick revision videos are the bigger source.

There are two ways of going about it. Some students say that they want to start with the concise classes, and then they want to expand. If that suits you, you can do it.

I believe for the majority of the students, 95% of the students, the other way around works better. Because you want to go with the concise, the broader source, more expanded source, develop concepts. And later on, for revision, if you want, you can use BTR.

If you want to revise the same thing, even that works very well. Right? So, if you want, you can focus only on mission classes also. For some of you, if you want to start with a concise source, that is also perfectly fine.

Personally, from my experience, the majority of the students benefited from going with the broader source. And see the thing is, if you do mission classes, even if you open the BTR notebook, you’ll see 99% of things are already covered. So, it takes very little time for you to cover the BTR in that case.

New mission notes will come, new quick revision notes will come. All those things will come, but they’ll come after a couple of months. There’s no point waiting for those things.

Here, time is important. So, every single day counts. And as Ananat Sir was beautifully saying that all of us have to get selected.

We have to ensure that we get every single question correct. Here, time is more important. Notes, if they get upgraded, that will happen in due course of time.

There is no immediate plan. In the next one and a half months, no new notes are coming. Now, I will share four questions.

Please answer those questions. Those questions help us to plan better. There is no longer a problem of content in NEET PG or INICET.

Content is too much content.

The problem is how to structure your preparation. How to follow a schedule? How to ensure three revisions before the exam? And for that, blindly follow the mission program.

Anant sir, I was interviewing Kartik, rank 59, INICET. And I asked him, he was a mission follower. Why were you following the mission? You were earlier following another platform.

And he told me that his senior, Vaibhav, rank 1, 2024, told him to follow the mission blindly. Why? Because if the exam gets postponed, if the dates are different, the program is flexible in such a way that they will take care of the studies according to the dates. And I think that is the best part about the mission program.

That your structure, your schedule, is such that you are always on track. The language of the teaching would be English. Sometimes, as I am speaking, I might speak a sentence in Hindi, but I would translate it into English.

This may not happen if somebody is speaking a joke. And the weirder the joke is, the more difficult it is to translate into English. But everything educational would be spoken in English.

So don’t worry about it, I would say that if you are preparing for INI CET on November 25, or NEET PG 26, the main video, the main notes, should not be used as the main source. They can be used sparingly, like in a particular topic. If your grasp is very poor, you can go for it.

Otherwise, the mission is more than enough. Another thing, when are you going to take your first grand test? The answer is today. It does not matter whether you get 80 correct, 90 correct or 130 correct.

This is going to be your baseline. And it’s a NEET PG mock, very exam-oriented. GTs are a preparation tool.

They are not an assessment tool only. They are a preparation tool. If you appear for the GT today, you will understand what kind of questions are coming in the exam.

Whether you get 40 marks correct, 70 correct, or 90 correct, that’s okay. Guys, you have to develop this habit. No avoidance as far as GTs are concerned.

Take the GT today, whatever marks you get, that’s my baseline. From there, I will improve. And the good thing is, all Cerebellum GTs do have video explanations now.

If you do not want to do the explanation part as of today, that would be okay. But take the GT. Underlining used to be a superpower in the past.

Underlining and using those highlighter pens. And they are really good. They help you to condense the content.

Use that. Late night PYQs, guys, I just told. I think somebody missed it.

The current cycle is mixed back. But for those of you who are starting with the preparation, it’s better to do late-night PYQs subject-wise. In the app, go to the late-night PYQ section.

In the test, mock test, late-night PYQs, scroll up. And then you will start seeing subject-wise late night PYQs. Use those PYQs.

Late-night PYQ time is nothing for you. You are doing the recorded ones, so you can do it immediately after the class, also.

Will 4 months be enough for the November INI CET?

Alright, 4 months means 120 days. If you are studying 10 hours a day, it means 1200 hours. Do you realise how much 1200 hours is? In 1200 hours, the world will be covered 2-3 times.

Always think in terms of hours. You have enough time. Time is never a problem.

I think we have a good number of interns also.

Interns, there is a slight change in the strategy for you guys. Probably, you may not get enough time for the custom modules that I was talking about during the day.

When you prepare for an internship, and when you are a post-intern, there are pros and cons. The biggest pro of an internship is, you are fresher with the final year subjects. Even if you think that I did not study anything in the final year, you have studied something.

Passed the KIN exam, so you have studied something. The problem with you is a lack of time. For post-intern, the time is more, but then there is a gap of 1 year.

So, it is evenly balanced. So, neither is having a major advantage or disadvantage. For interns, complete these classes.

In case you have a duty, watch the recorded videos of the mission classes. But, as far as possible, try to do it live. The good thing about live classes is, whatever Anant sir is teaching, all of you 1000 students would complete it today itself.

If you had made a plan to watch a video, it might take 2 days or 3 days. So, utilize the live classes for what they are. If you cannot do the custom module during the day, that is okay.

Focus on the late night PYQ. Reason, anyway, in the Cerebellum, we will have multiple E&Ds. E&D is the test and discussion.

So, the MCQ part is taken care of. So, questions would not be a problem. Content, late night PYQ, E&D, more than enough.

Because we will have multiple cycles also. This is enough. I hope all of you are in the Telegram group of Cerebellum.
