Faculty of Medicine
Dr. Dilip Kumar is currently a Consultant & Head – Department of Internal Medicine & Infectious Diseases at Dr. Mehta’s Hospitals, Chennai. He completed MBBS and MD (Internal Medicine) from Govt. Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai in 2012 & 2015 and secured more than 10 gold medals and multiple prestigious awards in his academic journey. He completed MRCP(UK) and DNB (Internal Medicine) in 2016 and then completed fellowships in Infectious diseases, Diabetology and critical care subsequently. He has a teaching experience that spans over a decade and he has his own unique innovative ways of delivering complex information in algorithms, flow charts and illustrations. He has a rich experience in teaching students who are preparing not only for NEET-PG, INI-CET and FMGE but also those who are preparing for USMLE, PLAB and MRCP(UK). He is actively involved in post-graduate and NEET-SS training as well for which he conducts numerous programs in Chennai. He is one of the most renowned and respected teachers in the student community and one among the best in the field till date.

Sir made tough concepts very simple and it helped us to understand it properly and to retain it as well.

Dilip Sir made medicine interesting by integrating everything and explaining real life examples and also making us aware on how real practice would like. I was very much afraid previously but now I watched almost 6 days of medicine classes even though I was unable to revise them but it made me know how to study medicine .
I felt the class very helpful as sir was even teaching path and pharma whenever required and there are many things from path where concepts were cleared by Dilip sir . I am looking forward to complete my rest of the classes from recorded sessions and also I’ll be subscribing to conceptual medicine in future even if I’m not going to pursue md medicine just to watch Dilip sir lectures and gain confidence in clinical practice.

Dr. Dilip sir’s teaching method is absolutely one of a kind. He has immense patience to clear each doubt however silly it might be so that we understand the topic from the basic to advanced level. He never hurried in the class and made sure to let us understand the topic rather than finish syllabus which is the purpose of live class as one can finish the syllabus from recorded main or quick revision video.
Sir has really changed my way of seeing medicine . It has always been a mammoth task to feel confident in medicine being a major subject which demands strong hold of basics .

Some people only want content to be taught straight without wasting any time, but I would like to say that for those people go for recorded video.I just love Dillip Sir. He is brutal honest and very hard working. That’s why he is what he is.
Love the amount of hard work sir does for us each and every day. The way of teaching is detailed in such a concise way, never thought medicine is possible, I always thought of keeping medicine as option since it’s very vast, but now because of the classes and Sir ‘s way of teaching i have started liking the subject and in fact now I feel so confident about the subject that i really want to make this subject as my strong suit. Medicine has been my first love since 2nd year of MBBS and sir makes it even easier to choose to love the field more and more on a daily basis with the fascinating anecdotes and cases he comes across in his practice. While teaching what is necessary for entrances, Sir also never forgets to go the extra mile for those of us interested in the field for just more than entrance so that we too can learn tidbits that’ll help us go a long way in practice as he says so many ‘little things that matter more than the big things’. Really wish Sir to write/publish his textbook for UG/PG because most definitely will cherish it for life just like his classes and notes. Also, last but not the least, solving medicine questions has never been easier/enjoyable/thought provoking than mere rote learning! Thank you so much sir!
