INI CET Toppers Choice: Cerebellum Academy-How Dr. Thrisha Secured Rank 7 in INI CET November 2025 with Cerebellum Academy

Dr. Thrisha

Every topper has a different journey and experiences when it comes to cracking the INI CET exam. In this blog, we bring you the inspiring experience of Dr. Thrisha, who got an exceptional Rank 7, as shared in her conversation with Dr. Praveen Tripathi.

Her story covers how strong fundamentals, disciplined revision, and especially the Grand Tests and video explanations of Cerebellum Academy helped her achieve this final performance.

Meet the Topper

Dr. Praveen Tripathi opened the discussion by congratulating Thrisha on her remarkable achievement. Was she expecting a rank under 10?

“Expecting? I was praying for it. Mostly, I was expecting at least the top 20”Dr. Thrisha

Her humility shines through from the very beginning.

Why She Chose Books When Everyone Is Choosing Videos

Interestingly, despite today’s video-based learning trend, Dr. Thrisha relied heavily on GRG Sir’s Pharmacology textbook during her MBBS and continued using the same for INICET.

She explained:

This highlights an important lesson: stick to what builds your concepts strongly.

How MBBS Foundations Shape Entrance Prep

When asked about the role of MBBS in PG entrance success, she emphasised:

“The entire concept base comes from MBBS itself — clinical postings, classes, and prof preparation.”

While MCQ solving requires a different approach, the core understanding begins much earlier.

When She Actually Started Preparing for INICET

A surprising yet motivating revelation:
She began serious entrance-focused preparation only in February of this year.

This serves as a reassurance for many students — you don’t always need years of preparation; you need focused preparation.

Notes vs Questions — What Truly Matters?

A common dilemma among aspirants: Should you revise notes repeatedly or solve a large number of questions?

Here’s Dr. Thrisha’s clear formula:

  1. Revision is number one. Without it, the first reading is useless.
  2. Gradually increase the number of questions.
  3. Integrate questions into revision.

Simple, practical, and effective.

Her Grand Test Strategy

Between February and September, she attempted only 3–4 GTs just to check her standing.

Her real GT phase began from late September and throughout October, where she:

GTs helped her assess:

Why Cerebellum GTs Stood Out for Her

When asked about her experience with Cerebellum GTs, Thrisha said:

“The best part was the video explanations after the GTs. They give a glimpse of the topic again and explain how to approach the question — why the other options are wrong and why this one is right.”

This feature saved hours of GT analysis time and made the entire review process quick, effective, and non-procrastinable.

Dr. Praveen also shared that Cerebellum added 60-second explanations because many students struggle to sit for long review sessions, and Thrisha confirmed that they helped immensely.

Her Dream Branch

Thrisha is currently inclined toward Medicine, and Dr. Praveen Tripathi mentioned she will likely secure it at AIIMS Delhi.

Her calm confidence reflects the strength of her preparation.
