Dr. Sudiksa’s Inspirational Journey: From Rank 55K to AIR 270 in NEET PG

Dr. Sudiksa

Hello dear students, here is another addition to our NEET PG 2025 Success stories.

Success stories are inspiring every time, but this is a remarkable one.

Dr. Sudiksa achieved a stunning AIR 270 in NEET PG 2025 after jumping all the way from a rank of 55,000+ in her last attempt. Her journey is testimony to the fact that with the right strategy, diligence, and mentoring, even the most daunting challenges can be met.

She discussed her preparation phase, strategies, challenges, and how Cerebellum played a pivotal role in her achievement with Dr. Gobind Rai Garg.

About Dr. Sudiksa:
Dr. Sudiksa did her MBBS from Madras Medical College last year. A. She took a year off after the internship to prepare, and in her first attempt, she got a rank of 55,000+, and this year, she was able to get AIR 270. We must say what a jump!

Dr. Sudiksa’s NEET PG Preparation Strategy with Cerebellum Academy
1. Daily Plan: Balancing Questions and Notes

Unlike many students who delay solving questions, she started from day one:

2. Starting GTs Early: A Smart Move

Dr. Sudiksa started giving Cerebellum Grand Tests (GTs) quite early — around September 2024.

Her first GT scores were somewhere around 120–125 correct, but she didn’t let it bother her. Over time, her scores gradually improved and reached the 150+ range.

Even when her GT scores dropped, she stayed calm:

Because she knew that one GT doesn’t define her knowledge. GTs are for learning, not for judging yourself. That mindset kept her consistent.

3. Cerebellum’s Q-Based Video Explanations: A Game-Changer

She viewed the video explanation of all the GT questions. Such concise, 2-minute to-the-point videos made them easy to learn and remember. They aided in quicker revision and conserved a lot of time versus reading long paragraphs.

This feature, she says, was one of the biggest reasons behind her improvement.

4. Staying Consistent with Midday Modules & PYQs

She tried her best to solve midday modules and late-night PYQs regularly.  She might have skipped a couple of days occasionally, but generally, she was regular. These small things summed up and helped her tackle more high-yield topics effectively.

5. Final Phase: Active Recall Over Passive Reading

During the last month of preparation, she completely switched her strategy:

She was solving 200–250 MCQs daily at that stage. Instead of passively re-reading notes, she focused on active recall through questions. It kept her mind sharp and boosted my confidence.
