30 Days to NEET PG 2025: No Excuses. No Regret

NEET PG 2025

Dear students, We are one month away from the NEET PG exam 2025, and almost everybody is carrying some amount of uncertainty. The post-interns are thinking that because the exam got postponed, the junior batch got more time, and they are coming into the competition, they have an edge. They are fresh, not tired, and studying very hard. The junior batch is having thoughts that—”we just got one month, two and a half, two months—is this time enough for us to turn the table?”

Depending on which side of the fence you are on, these thoughts may weigh on you. Some of you feel that after the exam was postponed, your studies got delayed, momentum got lost, and you are yet to regain it.

Uncertainty: The Double-Edged Sword

When preparing for something like NEET PG—a brutal, tough, and uncertain exam—you can never be sure where you stand. That’s both a good and bad thing.

It’s good because the competition remains wide open till the very end. It’s not only knowledge that gets tested—how well you can handle pressure, frustration, and setbacks also matters.

I regularly talk to people who do well in mocks—even those in the top 15. And believe me, they’re dealing with the same fears, doubts, and anxieties. This is not just about the exam anymore.

This Is Not Just an Exam—It’s a Chapter of Your Life

Years later, you’ll look back at this time. You’ll tell people:
“I was studying. Then the exam got postponed. My momentum dropped. But I came back. I pushed through. I made it happen.”

This story is still being written—and you get to decide how it ends.

My Story: 40 Days That Changed Everything

I’ve shared this before—how I came back from the US in December and had just 40 days to prepare. I didn’t think I could make it. I studied harder than ever before, and I got a rank of 23.

But there’s a part I never shared.

After that exam in February 2011, I didn’t prepare for the AIIMS and PGI exams in May. I could’ve studied for two more months and maybe made it to AIIMS. But I didn’t even try—and that’s my regret. Not that I didn’t get in, but that I didn’t try.
